Whatcom County Home and Garden show starts Feb. 28


LYNDEN - The 35th annual Whatcom County Home and Garden Show returns to the Northwest Washington Fair & Event Center at 1775 Front St., from Feb. 28 to March 2.

Educational classes will be held daily on the hour, sponsored by the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County. Topics include homebrewing, landscaping, solar technology, chickens, building, insurance, architecture, and, at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 2, gardening with Ciscoe Morris.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors 55 and older, and free for youths 15 and younger. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 28, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 1 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 2. Details: biawc.com/homeshow.
