When one considers an occupation like nursing where women's and men's pay can be directly compared for equal positions is there really a pay gap? If you take doctors in general, I believe there is a pay gap because women tend to be mostly in the lower paying specialties like general practitioner, psychologist and so on while the more demanding specialties like surgery tend to be men. So the Democrats lump they all together and say pay gap. I believe the Democrats spin so much I get dizzy.
Please note that the two representatives are paid the same for doing equal work. If Larsen was a Senator and therefore paid more than DelBene as a Congressman then I suppose the Democrats could use that as an example of pay gap. Though they probably would not because it is far too obviously silly.
