Sehome boys earn trip to playoffs with win over Burlington-Edison

Sehome's boys' basketball team sealed its trip to the Class 2A Bi-District Tournament with a 71-66 win over Burlington-Edison on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Sehome High School. The Mariners were led by Evan Miksovsky's 19 points and 12 rebounds.

"This was a really big win. Going into tonight we knew if we won we made it to districts, but if we lost there was a chance we could be out," Sehome coach AJ LaBree said in a phone interview. "It was Evan's night (as Sehome's only senior) and it was fitting that he had a great game."

Duncan James added 12 points and Leif Anderson had nine for Sehome.

Sehome will take on Sultan in the first round of the bi-district tournament on Saturday, Feb. 15.
