Irene Reither Primary Demolition

Clarence Westhoff of Tiger Construction uses an excavator to demolish the Irene Reither Primary School on Hemmi Road north of Bellingham, Wa., Tuesday morning, Feb. 11, 2014. The school, built in 1973, is being torn down to make way for playground and sports fields. Students from the primary school and Ten Mile Elementary School have moved into the new Irene Reither Elementary School.
