Career Education Night at Meridian High School Feb. 10

LAUREL - The Northwest Career & Technical Academy will be hosting a Career Education Night for students interested in a variety of industries, including construction and engineering.

The event will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at the Career and Technical Education building at Meridian High School, 194 W. Laurel Road.

Students will have an opportunity to meet industry professionals from a variety of local companies, including Exxel Pacific, Tiger Construction and the Washington Engineering Institute. Middle school students, high school students, parents and community members are invited.

The Northwest Career & Technical Academy offers half-day training programs for students between 16 and 21 who have not yet graduated from high school. For more information about the event or the academy, call 360-848-0706 or visit nwtech.k12.wa.us.
