Norwegian trumpet sensation Tine Thing Helseth is guest soloist with Whatcom Symphony Orchestra at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St.

Norwegian trumpet sensation Tine Thing Helseth is guest soloist with Whatcom Symphony Orchestra at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St.

For the concert, Tine will play the spirited Trumpet Concerto by Alexander Arutiunian.

Maestro Yaniv Attar and the orchestra will also perform Stravinsky's complete "Firebird Suite," plus works by Sibelius and Verdi.
