United start season in April

The Bellingham United soccer team, will open the 2014 season with a home game April 17 against Vancouver.

The United have moved from the Pacific Coast Soccer League, which they have been in the first two seasons, to the Evergreen Premier League.

The new league consists of the South Sound Shock in Tacoma, the Wenatchee United, the Seattle Stars, the WestSound in Silverdale, the Spokane Shadow, Vancouver and the Yakima United.

The regular season runs through July 19.
