WCC lecture focuses on Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy


BELLINGHAM - Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy will be the focus of a discussion honoring Black History Month Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Whatcom Community College.

Darryl Brice will discuss the civil rights leader in his lecture "Continuing the Dream," at 5 p.m. in the Syre Auditorium at WCC, 237 W. Kellogg Road.

Brice is a professor of sociology, diversity and global studies at Highline Community College in Des Moines. The event is free and open to the community.
