MOUNTAIN BIKING: Evergreen alliance to hold winter bash

February 2, 2014

Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance will hold a winter party Feb. 8 in Issaquah.

The “Winter Stoke Party and Dirt Junkie Mountain Bike Video and Photo Contest” will run from 7-10 p.m. at Gerk’s Ski and Cycle, 1875 NW Poplar Way, Issaquah.

There will be raffles, including one for a Diamondback Mason All Mountain bike, a silent auction, the photo and video contest, and beverages from Schooner Exact Brewing Co.

Submissions for the photo and video contest are due by Wednesday.

The event, for all ages, is a fundraiser for the alliance’s education program and its Washington Student League for middle and high school age students.

The cost is $15 for Evergreen members and $20 for the general public.
