OPEN HOUSE: Trek event to look at volunteer opportunities

February 2, 2014

People interested in volunteer opportunities at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park should plan to attend an open house Saturday.

This is a chance to learn about volunteering in the park’s education, animal care, conservation and maintenance departments.

The free event will run from 2-3 p.m. in the park’s Forest Theater, 11610 Trek Drive E., off state Route 161 in Eatonville.

People who attend the open house can take a tram ride through the park’s free-roaming area following the presentation. For more information, contact Dan Belting at dan.belting@nwtrek.org
