Smith, Camacho lead Baker to win

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDFebruary 1, 2014

Natalie Smith (118-pound division) and Aniecea Camacho (155) earned title wins in their respective weight classes, leading Mount Baker to a team win at the Lady Wolfpack wrestling meet on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Jackson High School.

Smith's win came against a girl she had lost to in their two previous meetings.

"She was relaxed today," Mountaineers coach Clyde Blockley said in a phone interview. "She came out ready to wrestle."

Akemi Schwinden (235) fell to KC Moulden of Enumclaw in their final matchup. Moulden, the 2013 state champion, has bested Schwinden twice now, but this match lasted three periods before she secured the pin.

"Akemi's getting more confident," Blockley said.
