WCC men suffer loss to Peninsula CC

Whatcom Community College's men's basketball team fell to Peninsula Community College 76-59 on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Peninsula. The Orcas were led by Kyle Impero's 24 points in the loss.

Xavier Bazile led the Pirates with 29 points, 14 rebounds and three assists, all team highs.

Jared Wells pitched in eight points and 10 rebounds for WCC. Quinton Whitfiled added 12 points for the Orcas.

Tyler McKinny added 18 points and Geno Horsley had 12 for Peninsula.

WCC plays next at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at home against Skagit Valley College.
