Another Blue Friday rally for Seahawks at Bellingham's Civic Field

BELLINGHAM — Seattle Seahawks fans are once again invited to wear blue and gather at lunchtime Friday, Jan. 31, for a Blue Friday rally and photo at Civic Field.

More than 400 people showed up Jan. 17 to form a giant "12" for the 12th Man. This time organizers plan to spell out "LOB" for the Legion of Boom, the nickname of Seattle's secondary defenders. Every adult attending will be given a numbered ticket for a chance to win a 60-inch flat-screen TV from DeWaard & Bode. Organizer Cascade Radio Group also plans to raise a 12th Man flag and hand out bags of Skittles, the candy that fuels running back Marshawn Lynch.

The event is at noon at 1355 Civic Field Way. Photos taken at the event will be available to download on the Cascade stations' websites. The group operates KBAI-AM 930, KPUG-AM 1170, KGMI-AM 790, KISM-FM 92.9 and KAFE-FM 104.1.
