THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJanuary 27, 2014

Kara Bajema had the hot hand for Lynden Christian's girls' basketball team, tallying 30 points as the Lyncs topped Sedro-Woolley 73-38 in a Northwest Conference game on Monday, Jan. 27, at Sedro-Woolley.

Bajema's points came in just 19 minutes of playing time, as she shot 13 for 18 from the floor over that period.

"She shot the ball real well from the perimeter," Lynden Christian coach Curt De Haan said in a phone interview, referencing Bajema's four 3-pointers. "We were able to force quite a few turnovers."
