Bells add two Gonzaga players for 2014

The Bellingham Bells have added two Gonzaga University players to the 2014 roster.

Right-handed pitcher David Bigelow, from Fox Island, is a redshirt junior for Gonzaga. As a redshirt freshman in 2012, he made 16 relief appearances for the Bulldogs, maintaining a 2.86 ERA. Bigelow did not allow any runs in nine of his 16 appearances. In 2013 as a redshirt sophomore, Bigelow made seven appearances and limited hitters to a .226 batting average.

Jimmy Sinatro, a sophomore, is a catcher from Sammamish. In his rookie season for the Bulldogs in 2013, Sinatro had an on-base percentage of .389 and a fielding percentage of .971.

A graduate of Skyline High School, Sinatro was named a 2012 First Team All-League selection by the Seattle Times. He was drafted in the 35th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros and chose to put the major leagues on hold in order to attend Gonzaga.
