Mount Baker takes second at Greater Puget Sound Tournament


Mount Baker's girls' wrestling team finished in second place at the Greater Puget Sound Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Foss High School.

Corbyn Cadle led a group of eight placers for the Mountaineers. Cadle took third place in the 112-pound class in her first varsity tournament.

"Cadle stood out the most," coach Clyde Blockley said in a phone interview. "She came down and wrestled pretty hard."

Natalie Smith (118), Heidi Chambers (124), Sylvia Lynch (130), Jessica Mata (130), Aniecea Camacho (155), Jordan Horsman (170) and Akemi Schwinden (235) were the other placers for Baker.
