LUMMI 51, ALUMNI 34

The Lummi boys' basketball team defeated its alumni 51-34 on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Lummi High School.

Charlie Wilson (11), Logan Toby (10) and Trazil Lane (10) all had good games for the Blackhawks.

"It's great to see all the alumni playing again," coach Jerome Toby said in a phone interview. "They came and played hard. It's great seeing everyone back in the gym."

The Blackhawks used the extra gym time to work on the little things.

"Some of the alumni were great athletes," Toby said. "I was proud of our guard to be able to contain those guys. We're working on cleaning up things, and tonight was a step forward."
