Squalicum can't stop Price, Sedro-Woolley

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJanuary 24, 2014

Squalicum's boys' basketball team couldn't hold down Sedro-Woolley's Jackson Price, who scored 36 points and hit seven 3-pointers, as the Cubs beat the Storm 81-68 on Friday, Jan. 24, at Squalicum.

Price scored 13 of his points in the third quarter, when the Cubs expanded their lead to 13 points. Price averages 26.5 points per game.

Blake Youtsey did his best to keep up with Price by scoring 28 points.

"Blake played very well," Squalicum coach Dave Dickson said in a phone interview. "I thought we played really well in the first half. We had good ball movement. In the third quarter they just out-executed us and out-shot us and that was the difference."

Squalicum plays next (8-7, NWC 4-4) is back on the court to take on Ferndale Monday, Jan. 27, at home.
