Blazers complete sweep of West Sound

Boris Knyazev had two goals as the Bellingham Blazers, a Tier III junior hockey team, beat the West Sound Warriors 5-1 on Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Bellingham Sportsplex to complete a two-game sweep.

The Blazers are 27-5 on the season, sit atop the Northern Pacific Hockey League standings and have won 13 consecutive games.

Gerin Hohl, Scotty Perkins and Micky Turner scored a goal each for the Blazers.

Joshua Stone had 27 saves in goal for the Blazers on night and Bellingham won the shots on goal battle 48-28.
