Banquet proceeds to fund Audubon programs

Dennis Paulson will be the keynote speaker at the Tahoma Audubon Society’s 45th annual banquet Feb. 8.

Paulson, director emeritus of the Slater Museum of Natural History at the University of Puget Sound, will give a program titled “Changing Birds, Changing World.”

The evening includes a catered dinner, raffle, awards ceremony, live dessert auction and a unique bird mask silent auction. Proceeds help sustain the chapter’s education and conservation programs.

It will run from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Temple Theater Ballroom, 47 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma.

The deadline to get tickets is Jan. 26.

Tickets are $45 each and are available at brownpapertickets.com/event/550614. Or you can complete an order form at tahomaauduon. org and mail it and a check to: Tahoma Audubon, 2917 Morrison Road W., University Place WA 98466.
