Blackhawks blow past Lopez

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJanuary 17, 2014

The Lummi boys' basketball team rolled through Lopez 65-16 on Friday, Jan. 17, at Lopez High School.

Logan Toby led the Blackhawks with 17 points, fueled by his five 3s.

"Logan shot the ball well tonight," coach Jerome Toby said in a phone interview. "He did a great job of stretching things out and he was able to knock it down from the perimeter. The players were unselfish in finding him."

The Blackhawks hope to keep improving on defense to continue winning.

"Our players are committing to a great team defensive effort," Jerome Toby said.
