Bellingham man makes music video parody for Seahawks' game (w/video)

Posted by JIM DONALDSON on January 16, 2014

Greg Otterholt of Bellingham has made a music video parody of a classic Bay Area pop song, taking aim at the Seattle Seahawks' biggest rival.

Set to "Lights" by Journey, the video features some of the Seahawks' greatest hits against the San Francisco 49ers. The two teams meet Sunday, Jan. 19 in the NFC Championship game.

Otterholt was an anchor and weather reporter for "NewsView," on KVOS-TV until January of 2007. He now makes videos for Hook & Pan Productions, which produces TV and radio commercials as well as Otterholt's own music.

"I'm from right here in B'ham and used to work at KVOS for the 17 years back when they had local news... and employees ;) Now I just sit at home and make goofy music videos," Otterholt wrote in an email. "Just kidding... I take naps, too."

A sample of the lyrics:

"When the light go down in the city,

"so does the team down from the bay,

"gonna send them all back with a loss

to their city."
