THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJanuary 14, 2014

The Lummi girls' basketball team spread the ball around, but still came up short in a 64-31 loss to Grace Academy on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Lummi High School. Treena Humphreys led the Blackhawks with 19 points.

"Everybody played and worked hard," Lummi coach Randy Kaui said in a phone interview. "Carla Lawrence and Thelma Wall played some tough defense. They worked hard on the full-court press, screens and rolling, stuff people don't see."
