Bow man dies in Chuckanut Drive crash

BOW - A Bow man was killed when his car went off Chuckanut Drive and crashed into a rock wall Sunday evening, Jan. 12, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Rickie L. Moore, 61, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet pickup south on Chuckanut Drive near the Chuckanut Manor restaurant when he missed a curve in the road at about 6:37 p.m. His truck went off the west side of the road and crashed into a rock wall.

Moore died at the scene. Troopers listed speed as the cause of the crash. Moore wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
