Rave: Band offers thanks

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJanuary 13, 2014

We are proud to offer a seasonal shout out, as well as thank you to both the Boundary Bay Brewery and Bistro and to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Bellingham Post No. 1585 for their support and generous contribution to the success of the band, "Out of the Ashes" throughout 2013.

"Out of the Ashes" is a music therapy program for adults with disabilities developed and directed by Jon Dalgarn that currently provides weekly opportunities for musical and social connections for both band members and their fans. Boundary Bay Brewery and Bistro made their outdoor garden stage available to the program during the warmer months of summer and the VFW is currently providing their facility for our winter/spring clubhouse and performance center.

The music is spot on, the vibe is very special, and it's a joyful experience every Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m.
