Rich nets hat trick, Blazers win

Cody Rich scored a hat trick and the Bellingham Blazers defeated the Eugene Generals 4-1 on Friday, Jan. 10.

"It took us awhile to get going," coach Mark Collins said.

Rich got the scoring started with a goal with 17 seconds left in the first period. He picked up his second with 15:39 left in the second and his third with 3:27 left in the second.

Blazers' goalie Robert MacDonald saved 19 shots. His only goal allowed came with 7:28 left in the second period.
