What she did: Coach Mark Wright heaped praise on Lowry for what she's done this week during a tumultuous week for the girls' basketball team. Lowry scored a team-high 19 points in a loss to Lynden and scored 16 points with eight rebounds during the Storm's win against Sehome. She's averaging 14.3 points per game, has scored 11 points or more eight times this winter and recorded a season-high 28 points on Dec. 28.
Coach's quote: "Meghan has been through some extremely dark nights the past several years as a member of the SQHS girls' team, but she has never wavered in her effort and fight. This year as our team has improved its play, Meghan has been a soaring beacon of consistency for us. She is an absolute tyrant on both ends of the floor for us and her effort juices our team every day. Simply put, Meghan is our mitochondria!" - Mark Wright

Coach's quote: "This past week Maddy has worked really hard during practice, and on her own time, to not only get better herself but to help make her teammates better." - Kim Kirk
