Lummi girls fall to Grace Academy

The Lummi girls' basketball team lost 68-21 on Monday, Jan. 6, to host Grace Academy. Lummi was led by Harley Ellenwood's nine points in the loss.

Turnovers plagued the Blackhawks as they committed 31 in the game.

"We need to get better on teamwork and trust each other," Lummi coach Randy Kaui said in a phone interview.

Treena Humphreys added eight points for Lummi.

Lummi plays next at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, at home against Tulalip Heritage.
