Blazers sweep Vipers to start 2014

Nine different players scored as the Bellingham Blazers, a tier III junior hockey team, beat the Vancouver Vipers 11-0 on Saturday, Jan. 4, at home to complete a two-game sweep.

Kristjan Toivola had two goals and two assists and Dawson Quint had two goals.

Nick Scherbinin, Luke Wagner, Richard Prekop, Boris Knyazev, Scott Hansen, Cody Rich and Bailey Shaver each added a goal for Bellingham.

Brody Parker had 21 saves in goal for the Blazers.
