January 5, 2014

George and Lois Wade George Edward Wade, son of Glenn and Elizabeth Wade, and Lois Mae Pattee, daughter of Frank and Emily Lou Ouida Pattee, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 28, 2013. George and Lois met in College Place, WA, were married in Lois's hometown of Cottage Grove, OR, and moved to Bellingham in 1970 where they raised 4 girls, Debbie, Susan, Adeline, and Kayleen, while also caring for many foster children. George recently retired from Northwest Radiologists and Lois continues to run Creatures Comfort, a cat rescue organization she started in the 1990s. We love you Dad and Mom. Thank you for the wonderful example you have been to us and our families. Happy 50th Anniversary!
