WWU offers free counseling starting Jan. 21

BELLINGHAM - Graduate students in Western Washington University's psychology department are offering free individual counseling sessions starting Tuesday, Jan. 21.

WWU's Counseling Training Clinic will offer appointments for adults and children, with openings from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.

The students will work under faculty supervision and are trained to deal with such issues as depression, anxiety, relationship issues and grieving.

Anyone interested in scheduling an appointment can call Cindy Savage with the psychology department at 360-650-3184 and leave a confidential message with a contact number.
