Decades after their breakthrough hit, "Closer to Fine," Amy Ray (the brunette) and Emily Saliers (the blonde) continue to perform in support of social and environmental causes.

On their 14th studio album, "Beauty Queen Sister," the musicians alternate storytelling with reflections on modern-world worries.
