Lynden light show turns into tribute for Seahawks (w/video)

An animated Christmas light show in Lynden turned into a video tribute to the Seattle Seahawks over the weekend, but will be back in full Christmas mode tonight.

Ryan Mitchell of Emerald Way Lights put together the green-and-blue light show at a house at 1751 Emerald Way in Lynden, in honor of the Seahawks. The tribute, set to music and the enthusiastic voice of radio play-by-play announcer Steve Raible, features audio provided by, a Woodinville company.

Mitchell told a Seattle TV station he made the tribute show "as any 12th Man would do, given the opportunity."

Traffic was heavy in the neighborhood over the weekend, but Mitchell said on his Facebook page his neighbors have been very understanding.

In the spirit of Christmas, the animated light show will run from 4:30 - 10 p.m. Monday through Christmas Day featuring only holiday music.
