Big win before NWC-opener for Sehome boys


Sehome boys' basketball cruised to a 76-29 win over Delta Secondary, from British Columbia, on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Sehome. The Mariners were led by Evan Miksovsky's 12 points and seven rebounds in the win.

"We got out to a big lead early (24-8 after the first quarter)," Sehome coach A.J. LaBree said in a phone interview. "We came out with great energy and didn't mess around."

Leif Anderson also had 15 points for Sehome, including four 3-pointers.

"Anderson took good shots and knocked them down when he was open," LaBree added.

Sehome's next game is its Northwest Conference opener at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Sedro-Woolley.
