WCC women win big over Tohono Oodham CC

Whatcom Community College women's basketball was firing on all cylinders as the Orcas topped Tohono Oodham Community College 58-14 on Saturday, Dec. 14, at WCC.

Kortney Grattic led the Orcas with 25 points in the win. Alisha Friberg added 13 points, and Nathalie Gruber grabbed 16 rebounds for WCC.

Grattic also hit three 3-pointers. The Orcas out-rebounded Tohono Oodham 48-12.

WCC plays next at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Bellevue College against Lane for the Bellevue Crossover Tournament.
