ORDER ONLINE: State Parks ’14 calendar now on sale

In time for the holidays, the 2014 Washington State Parks wall calendar is available for purchase.

The calendar features color photos that represent some of the park system’s premier and unique features, as well as photos of wildlife that can be seen in state parks.

The 2014 calendar features photographs that capture park views, including an aerial winter wonderland scene of Mount Constitution at Moran State Park on Orcas Island, a lightning storm at Deception Pass, a night shot at Cape Disappointment, a sunset scene at Steamboat Rock, a close-up of a hummingbird at Schafer State Park and a Riverside State Park vista. Photographers are Chris Teren, Elizabeth Seguin, Bob Jackson, Jordan Roberts, Arnold Hampton, Rich Leon, Matthew Williams, Dennis Verhaaf and Dylan Collins.

The calendar is 14 by 9.875 inches in size when closed. It opens to a vertical format measuring 14 by 19.75 inches. The calendar sells for $18.50, plus tax and is available for purchase online through the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services’ on-demand program. To purchase one, go to myprint.wa.gov or go to the State Parks website at parks.wa.gov/specialoffers. Orders need to be made by Wednesday for delivery by Christmas.
