Micro Housing a topic at upcoming design awards

Here's a news release from the Northwest Washington American Institute of Architects about its upcoming award program:

A 2013 Design Awards program celebrating the architecture of Whatcom, Skagit, Island and San Juan County will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal, 355 Harris Avenue.

One of the Jurors, Victor Sidy, Dean of the Frank Lloyd Wright school of Architecture in Arizona, will be speaking about maintaining the legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright in the future and Micro Housing concepts. The student designs have been recognized nationally for their innovation.
