Forum to address Ferndale's $125 million proposed school bond

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDDecember 10, 2013

FERNDALE - Community members can learn more about the Ferndale School District's proposed $125 million bond to build a new high school at a forum Thursday evening, Dec. 12.

The forum will take place at 6 p.m. at Ferndale High School, which would be completely rebuilt if the bond passes during the February special election. The meeting will be in the school's cafeteria.

The forum will include a presentation with information about the bond, a guided tour of the high school and a question-and-answer period. Each section is scheduled to take 30 minutes and will run at 6, 6:30 and 7 p.m. so people can join at various times.

The school board has to approve the bond before it can be put on the Feb. 11 ballot.
