Bellingham, WA – December 6, 2013 – The Technology Alliance Group (TAG) for Northwest Washington announced the winners for the second annual TAG Tech Awards at Bellingham Technical College (BTC).
AVA.ai received the Most Innovative New Technology, Product or Service award. The award criterion was based on originality, usability and effectiveness or measurability of results.
WompMobile received the Rising Star award, which is awarded to a company who is no older than five years, is not a subsidiary of a larger entity and has proven themselves as quickly growing young technology company.
Western Washington University student Kyle Rader was honored with the Technology Leader of Tomorrow award, for his achievements, dedication and because he has demonstrated through performance that he is innovative, bright and destined to advance the technology industry.
Tyler Byrd of Red Rokk received the Outstanding Achievement in Industry Leadership award for his contributions to the tech and business communities through his work with the BIG Idea Lab and his contribution to activities such as Global Entrepreneurship Week and Startup Weekend.
