Coach: Chad Parson

Last year: Finished in third place in the NWC with a 2-1 record. ... Recorded 35 points and a 19th-place finish at the state championships last year. ... Finished behind Mount Baker at the Region 1 Wrestling tournament, sending

Wrestlers to watch: Chloe Gardner (Sr., 137); Kylee Dekoekkoek (Sr., 145); Fabiana Hernandez (Jr., 145

Outlook: The future may be bright for Chad Parson and his Pioneers squad, but the present is even brighter. After placing 19th last year at the 2013 Mat Classic, Parson gets back several girls who competed at the state tournament, including standouts Kylee Dekoekkoek and Chloe Gardner. "Last year our team was fantastic and phenomenal," Parson said. "We really made a loud noise in the state tournament, as far as having on official girls' team." Parson doesn't see any particular class range that his team is strongest in, but rather an enire group of girls that will push for high placings at this years state tournament. "All our girls are looking really good and tough as hammers," he said.
