THE BELLINGHAM HERALDDecember 2, 2013

ANDI DEKOSTER

School: Squalicum

Year: Senior

Finished 14th in the 500 freestyle at the Class 2A State Championships last year in 5:25.27 and was part of the Storm's 400 freestyle relay, which finished ninth. For the first time in his career at Squalicum, he'll have the same head coach leading the program.

ISAIAH GRAMBO

School: Sehome

Year: Junior

Placed seventh in the 50 freestyle at the Class 2A State Championships last year with a time of 22.79 seconds and was part of the Mariners' championship 200 medley relay team. Though he's only a junior, he'll play a vital leadership role for a Sehome team without a senior.

ROBBY KNAPP

School: Lynden

Year: Junior

Finished 16th in the 100 butterfly at the Class 2A State Championships last year with a time of 1:02.66 and was part of the Lions' ninth-place 200 medley relay. His experience will be valuable for a Lynden program that will be rebuilding a bit this year.

JOSH LARSON

School: Sehome

Year: Junior

Finished 14th in the 100 freestyle at the Class 2A State Championships last year in 52.44 seconds and was ninth in the 50 freestyle in 23.47 seconds. Also a valuable member of the Mariners' relays, who like Grambo, will play an important leadership role this year.

MARTIN SLOLEY

School: Bellingham

Year: Sophomore

Finished 10th in the 200 freestyle at the Class 2A State Championships last year with a time of 1:57.21 and was 11th in the 500 freestyle at state in 5:20.44. He's also a valuable member of Bellingham's relays and should play a leadership role for improving Bellingham.
