Suggests rules about gas storage

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDDecember 1, 2013

After reading the article about Canadians hauling gas over the border I was astonished. Not only is it unsafe for themselves if they don't properly close their Jerry cans properly, it's dangerous for everyone. Anyone who lives in the Bellingham area knows that the grocery stores and local mall are absolutely packed with the number of our northern neighbors who come down for the price breaks. As much as these corporations surely welcome the added revenue, this added traffic mixed with incorrectly stored gasoline is bound to be disastrous at some time in the future. It's important to enstate regulations now so that injuries and possible deaths can be prevented before they happen.
