I left a message with a Bellis Fair official to get more details, but here's what I know at this point:
General Growth Properties submitted a tenant improvement application to the City of Bellingham to demolish the movie theater at Bellis Fair and put in three retail tenant spaces.
The three spaces would be of different sizes: 10,765 square feet, 7,082 square feet and 2,527 square feet. The first is designated as a retail store, the second a restaurant and the third a quick-service restaurant.
The permit application did not list who the tenants might be nor when construction would begin.
