Bajema scores twice during South Carolina's first-round win

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDNovember 21, 2013

Former Lynden Christian standout Coryn Bajema, who is now a sophomore forward on the South Carolina women's soccer team, scored two goals against Furman during the Gamecocks' 5-0 opening-round victory in 2013 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament on Friday, Nov. 15, in South Carolina.

South Carolina, the region's No. 3 seed, plays Stanford next at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, in Southern California.

Bajema has recorded three goals and four assists this fall. She started 20 of 21 games her freshman year but has missed most of this season after suffering a fractured arm, which required surgery. She's served as South Carolina's first player off the bench since returning.
