Landscaping work at roundabout to close Wharf Street Nov. 19

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDNovember 18, 2013

BELLINGHAM - Drivers who take State Street past Wharf Street may want to plan another route Tuesday, Nov. 19, because landscaping work will create detours in the area throughout the day, according to Bellingham Public Works.

Wharf Street will be closed and southbound traffic on State Street will be detoured onto Berry Street while crews install landscaping rocks in the middle of the new roundabout at the intersection.

During the work, Boulevard will be reduced to one lane northbound. Flaggers will direct traffic through the area.
