Rave: Enjoyed musical tribute to veterans

November 18, 2013

Kudos to everyone who organized and performed in the wonderful musical tribute to veterans in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War start. As a former hippie war protester bringing her 91-year-old father, a veteran of WWII and the Korean War, I wondered about the generation gap at such an event. Wow! He loved it, and so did I, as "Radio DJ" Robert Muzzy hit highlights and lowlights of the war years, and the fabulous musicians (many also veterans) performed excerpts of hit songs from the era. Keep it up, guys and gals, and thanks to all our veterans for their service.
