Rich leads Blazers to 7-0 win over Vipers

The Bellingham Blazers shut out the Fort Vancouver Vipers 7-0 on Friday, Nov. 15, in Vancouver.

Cody Rich led the team with two goals and an assist.

"The boys responded very well after last Saturday's loss," Blazers coach Mark Collins said in a news release. "The key for us now is seeing if we can have the same effort two games in a row. That has hurt us recently so tomorrow night we need to have the same intensity."

Rich struck first in the game at 3:13 into the first period, when he lit the lamp assisted by Ty Hubbard.

The Blazers were able to notch 71 shots on the Vipers goal while Blazer goalie Brody Parker had a shutout game, saving seven Vipers shots on goal.
