A smash on Broadway and in London, the two-time Tony Award-winning musical "American Idiot" tells the story of three lifelong friends forced to choose between their dreams and the safety of suburbia. Their quest for true meaning in a post-9/11 world leads them on a journey of teen rage, love and loss.

It's onstage at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St.

Based on Green Day's Grammy Award-winning album "American Idiot," the show features the hits "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "21 Guns," "Wake Me Up When September Ends," "Holiday" and the blockbuster title track.
