Blazers blanked by West Sound Warriors

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDNovember 11, 2013

The Bellingham Blazers were overwhelmed by the West Sound Warriors in a 7-0 loss on Saturday, Nov. 9, in Bremerton. The Warriors overpowered Bellingham with three goals in both the first and third periods.

The blowout loss was due to a disappointing effort by the entire Blazers team, Bellingham coach Mark Collins said. Despite allowing seven goals, Blazers goaltender Joshua Stone stopped 45 of the Warriors shots. Four players scored for the Warriors.

The Blazers will look to bounce back against the Vancouver Vipers on Nov. 15 and 16, in Vancouver, B.C.
