Bellingham man handed out candy in Korea

In 1954, U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Harry L. Bussanich gave candy to children on the perimeter of Osan Air Base in South Korea. Born and raised in Bellingham, Bussanich served in the Army for two years before becoming a magazine distributor.
